The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is likely to discuss its communication strategy to highlight the NDA Government’s achievements in the first year during a meeting likely to be today.

Principal Secretary in the PMO, Nripendra Misra, will reportedly chair a meeting to discuss the communication strategy to highlight the government’s achievements and success stories concerning various flagship programmes and initiatives.

According to reports, the officers of the various ministries have been asked to provide the significant materials regarding the government’s major initiatives and policy decisions. The Narendra Modi Government will complete its first year in office on May 25 and the various ministries have been asked to show how their initiatives have benefited the people across the country.

The government, which has of late come under sharp criticism from the opposition parties over the Land Acquisition Bill, is looking to reach out to the people on the occasion by laying emphasis on the changes it has brought in the last one year for their well-being.
