Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new book – Exam Warriors – launched on Saturday, 3 February, aims to help students breeze through their examinations.
The book was launched by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in the presence of Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.
The book reportedly urges young students to tackle their examinations with zeal and energy. Modi has constantly reiterated the fact the exams should be viewed as ‘festivals’ in order to reduce stress, on his monthly talk show – Mann ki Baat.
On 31 January, Penguin India, which is publishing the book, termed the book as “non-preachy, practical and thought-provoking”, while unveiling the cover of the book.
Exam Warriors is a 208 page book.
According to News18, the book compiles several of Modi’s radio shows on the topic, as well as some personal anecdotes, as the Prime Minister lists out methods that students could try to help them tackle the exam stress.
Modi also reportedly advises parents and teachers to help their wards through the strenuous time in his book.
Keep doing everything that you can to support your children. This includes lightening the child’s mood and ensuring he or she appears for the exam in a happy and stress-free manner. An excerpt from the book, as quoted by News18
Apart from Saturday’s book launch, Modi will also address a town hall meeting on 16 February, where he will meet and interact with students from across the country, ahead of the exam season.
The meeting is likely to happen Delhi’s Talkatora stadium or the Indira Gandhi arena, where the PM will also talk to students via video conferencing, reported News18.
