Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur campus (IIIT-NR). He also launched the website of the institute.
Chattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh announced via Twitter that the fee for the first year has been waived off.
The institute has been established with the joint collaboration of NTPC and Government of Chhattisgarh. As per the institute website, IIIT-NR is offering four-year undergraduate programs in CSE and ECE. The curriculum focuses on encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship among students, with the Institute providing the right ecosystem to foster such spirit.
The opening date of application is July 4 and it ends on 13 July. The session will start from August 10.
