The second supplementary chargesheet submitted by the CBI to a Mumbai court on Friday reportedly deals with Peter Mukerjea’s alleged role in the murder of Sheena Bora, his wife Indrani’s daughter, in April 2012.

Peter, according to this supplementary chargesheet, was aware of the disposal of Sheena’s body on 25 April 2012 near Pen in Maharashtra’s Raigad district.

According to the two-page statement submitted by CBI, Mukherjeas’ driver Shayamvar Rai said that when he had taken Indrani to Raigad to search for a place to dispose of Sheena and her brother Mikhail's bodies, she called up Peter and told him twice that it was a “good place”.

"Madam ne do baar jahan tak mujhe yaad hai Peter sahib se phone par baath kar ke boli thi ki "good place" Mikhail aaivam Sheena ka naam lekar angrezi mein bol rahi thi," the statement reads.

The first chargesheet was submitted in November 2015 when Peter was arrested.

Arguments involving the framing of charges against the accused – Peter, Indrani and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna – will begin Saturday.

The telephone conversations between Peter and Rahul, that had been recorded by the latter, indicated that Peter was allegedly aware of the foul play involved.

When approached for a comment by Times Now, Mikhail Bora, Sheena’s brother, refused to comment on the developments and only said:

I have given my full statement to the CBI. Whatever I’ve to say, I’ll say to the court.

The Times Now report also adds that acquisition of property could also be one of the motives behind Sheena’s murder.

In probing the Sheena Bora murder case, the CBI appears to have resorted to falsifying and misrepresenting facts, a careful reading of the second supplementary chargesheet submitted to a Mumbai court on Friday by the agency reveals.

The CBI’s supplementary chargesheet, which relies heavily on the “statement” made by Sheena’s brother Mikhail, who benefited the most from his sister’s murder, claims that he reached Mumbai at 8:30 pm on 24 April, 2012, less than two hours before the 24-year-old girl was murdered in Pali Hill by her mother Indrani Mukerjea, driver Shyamwar Rai and Sanjeev Khanna.
