Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan stated on Sunday that he was ready to quit accepting new acting offers, so he could focus on politics.

According to reports, Pawan Kalyan even rebutted criticism that he was “only a part-time politician and full-time actor”.

The actor had floated Jana Sena on the eve of 2014 elections but campaigned for the BJP-TDP alliance during the elections.

The TTD governs the Lord Venkateswara temple atop Tirumala, which is the richest Hindu temple in the world.
