In a shocking incident in Mohali, Punjab, singer Parmish Verma and his friend were shot on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday in Sector 91 of Mohali. The two were soon rushed to the nearby Fortis Hospital and are reportedly out of danger. Parmish came under the spotlight with his hit song Gaal Ni Kadni.

“Some unidentified persons fired shots at Parmish last night at Sector 91 in Mohali when he was returning home. A bullet hit his leg,”
Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Chahal to Financial Express

The incident took place when Parmish was returning home with his friend

While the police is still investigating the case and is yet to identify the shooter, in a shocking Facebook post, a man named Dilpreet Singh Dhahan holding a pistol on one side admits on his page that he has shot the singer.

Typed in Punjabi, the Facebook post states:

“I Dilpreet Singh Dhahan want to tell everybody that I am the person who shot Parmish Verma. (You had challenged me to meet anytime and anywhere, look that is what I did. I told you to listen to what I was asking you to do, but as you didn’t and challenged me, look we met. Now that this game has started, we’ll see where it ends. Today, you were spared but the next time you won’t be spared. Now, I suggest you should use your brains to take a wise decision).”

Parmish is also all set to be the lead actor in the remake of Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham. More recently, his single Shada was a big hit and has already crossed 27 million views on YouTube.
