- The encounter reportedly happened at around 11 am during a search operation in the jungles of Lachantola in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district, reported ANI.
- The naxals were killed in a joint operation by the ITBP and the Madhya Pradesh's Hawk Force.
- One naxal was carrying a reward of Rs 8 lakh on his head, while the other had a reward of Rs 2 lakh on him.
