Teacher Held In Thane After His Car Hits And Injures Two Minors

The kids were admitted to a private hospital and are still in a critical condition.

  • Dilip Gunjal, a 37-year-old teacher was arrested for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run case which gravely injured two minors in Thane, Maharashtra on Saturday.
  • Gunjal was allegedly speeding and lost control of the vehicle, which hit Jia Thakkar (6) and Parth Thakkar (6). The children were admitted to a private hospital in a serious condition.
  • The accused was handed over to police by locals who gathered at the spot of the accident. He has been booked under various sections of Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act.
