Tweeple React to Century’s Longest Lunar Eclipse

People’s reaction to lunar eclipse seen from India and around the world.

India witnessed the total lunar eclipse also know as the blood moon for approximately 1 hour 43 minutes. The partial eclipse of the moon began at 11:54 pm Indian Standard Time on 27 July.

The eclipse was also visible from other parts of the world – Australia, Asia, Russia, Europe, east of South America and Antarctica.

People across India couldn’t contain their excitement and took to Twitter to express themselves. Reactions from across the world were equally ecstatic.
