As a result, investors were left poorer by Rs 2.6 lakh crore with BSE’s market capitalisation now at Rs 137.8 lakh crore. Dwindling investor confidence combined with foreign fund selling could result in more downside for the market, warned brokers. On the global front, the US-China trade war is also a headwind for the markets, they said.
