SC to Start Hearing Section 377 Pleas From 10 July
The Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court will hear petitions against Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which criminalises homosexuality from 10 July.
Toddler Mowed Down by Private School Bus in Gurgaon
A two-year-old boy on Thursday was mowed down by a private school bus in Gurgaon's Rethoj village, police said.
The bus, belonging to the Vivek Model School located at Maruti Kunj, was on its way to school to drop children, they said.
The bus driver, Om Prakash, was caught by local villagers after he dropped the students in the school while he was returning from the same route 25 minutes after the incident, police said.
Local residents allegedly thrashed him and also pelted stones on the bus, they said.

J&K Police Constable Abducted by Militants
A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police, Javaid Ahmad Dar was abducted by militants from a local medical shop in Shopian, reported ANI.
Mandsaur Rape Case: 2 Accused Sent to Judicial Custody
Two people, who were arrested on charges of abducting and raping a minor girl in Mandsaur, were remanded to judicial custody by a local court today, an official said.
Irfan (20) and Asif (24) were produced before Additional District and Sessions Judge Nisha Gupta after their police custody expired, said district Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh.
"If necessary, we will seek their custody again," he added.
