Migrants Throwing Rocks at US Troops to be Arrested, Not Fired At: Trump
President Donald Trump on Friday, 2 November, backtracked from a suggestion he had made a day earlier, that American troops sent to the border with Mexico would be free to fire on migrants who who would throw rocks at them. Instead, he said rock-throwers would only be arrested.

One person was killed and at least four others were injured injured in a shooting which took place in a yoga studio in Florida’s capital city on Friday, 2 November.
The shooter reportedly killed himself after wounding others.

Ola, Uber Call Off Strike Till 15 Nov For Diwali
After several days of carrying forth their strike, cab aggregators, Ola and Uber, on Friday, 2 November, decided to call it off temporarily, till 15 November, so as to not cause more problems to commuters during the Diwali week.
The decision to call off the strike temporarily, came four days after stakeholders in the companies, held a meeting with the state transport officials and minister Diwakar Raote at the Mantralaya.
