Actor, Koena Mitra has filed a case of sexual harassment against an unknown caller at the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai.
The actor who starred in films like Apna Sapna Money Money and Heyy Babyy has been receiving lewd calls reportedly asking her for a night out.
According to a report in The Indian Express, the actress has registered a sexual harassment complaint after receiving nearly 40-50 unknown calls.
In a statement to The Indian Express, Koena confirmed the news. “I will give statements after I get results from Mumbai police. Thanks,” she said.
According to a report in Mid-day, the police officer assigned to the case said, “We have booked the caller under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC and are investigating the case further.”
According to the report in Mid-day, the complaint also stated that when Koena finally answered the caller, “he started abusing her and offered her money”.
