In the latest medical bulletin, Chennai’s Kauvery Hospital announced that DMK President Karunanidhi’s medical condition has declined.

The hospital said “maintaining his vital organ functions continues to remain a challenge considering his age related ailments.”

Addressing the media on Saturday, DMK’s principal secretary said that party supremo Karunainidhi could be discharged within the next “2-3 days.”

According to Hindustan Times, Duraimurugan said:

Karunanidhi’s health condition has improved a lot as compared to last week. He is able to listen to what we are saying. He has overcome the critical period and his health parameters are improving. He will return to home within two or three days.
