On Karunanidhi’s Birth Anniversary, Stalin, Rahul Pay Tribute

M Karunanidhi, who was Tamil Nadu’s longest-serving CM, breathed his last in August last year at the age of 94.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to pay tribute to DMK patriach and five-time chief minister of Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi. on his 95th birth anniversary.

Earlier this morning, DMK chief and son of Karunanidhi, MK Stalin also paid homage to his father and tweeted about the same.

Karunanidhi, who was Tamil Nadu's longest-serving chief minister, breathed his last in August last year, at the age of 94, after a period of prolonged illness. A 13-time lawmaker, Karunanidhi never personally lost an election since 1957. He was 48 when he first became Tamil Nadu's chief minister.
