Near-Miss Between IndiGo and BSF Planes, Close Shave for Home Secy

Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi was in the BSF plane which nearly collided with an Indigo aircraft.

• A Border Security Force (BSF) plane carrying Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi came within 400 ft of an Indigo aircraft on Friday night.
• The mid-air near-collision reportedly happened over Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir.
• A report on Mehrishi’s narrow escape has been filed with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
