The recent hack of infidelity website, Ashley Madison, has revealed some interesting data that points to the fact that thousands of Indians are also registered on the site.
According to the leaked user data, New Delhi has emerged as the adultery capital of India with 38,652 users followed by Mumbai (33,036), Chennai (16,434) and Kolkata (11,807)
And there are a substantial number of women subscribers in India, as shown by the geographical map created by Tecnilogica, a Spanish digital agency.
Beside Metros, other cities that feature in the list are Hyderabad has 12,825, Bengaluru 11,561, Ahmedabad 7,009, Chandigarh 2,918, Jaipur 5,045, Lucknow 3,885 and Patna 2,524.
Ashley Madison is a membership website and service based in Canada; its membership includes 39 million people in 53 countries.
