India-Pakistan News LIVE Updates: Soon after PM Narendra Modi's message to Pakistan against terrorism amid the ongoing conflict between the two nations, India intercepted several Pakistani drones in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba in a violation of the ceasefire agreement between the two nations reached on 10 May.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday night, stating that "terror and trade cannot go together." He said, "If Pakistan wants to talk, it will have to be about terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)."

PM Modi's address came just minutes after US President Donald Trump took credit for helping 'avert a nuclear war' between India and Pakistan, saying that the "two nations agreed to stop fighting because he offered them trade."

Earlier on Monday, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMOs) held a second briefing India's achievements in operation Sindoor.

He added, "On the afternoon of 10 May, they (Pakistan) reached out to our DGMO. By that time, we had demolished their infrastructure and struck their terror bases. When Pakistan pleaded for help and said they will not allow terror and military attacks from its soil on India, we considered their proposal. The operation is on pause, we will watch their actions carefully."
