1. Gurugram Nurse Alleges Rape, Blackmail by Former Live-In Partner, His Friend
A woman has alleged that she was raped by her former live-in partner and his friend in Sikanderpur village last year. A case was registered on Tuesday after she filed a complaint at women police station in Sector 51.
Police said the woman, who works as a nurse at a private hospital in the city, said that the suspects recorded the incident on a video and threatened to share the video on the internet if she told anyone about it.
Police said the incident took place in 2018 when the woman, a native of Rohtak, was staying in the city.

2. Kidnapped & Sexually Abused, 3-Year-Old Girl Dies of Head Injury in Pune
A three-year-old girl, who lived on the streets of Pune with her mother, died after she was allegedly abducted and sexually abused on Tuesday.
The girl, who was abducted in the early hours of Tuesday, was later found with critical head injuries, said police. She was rushed to a hospital, where she succumbed to injuries on Tuesday evening.

3. Case Against Chinmayanand: Missing Woman ‘Spotted’ in Delhi Hotel, CCTV Footage Recovered
A day after former union minister Swami Chinmayanand was booked for allegedly kidnapping a female law student, the woman, who has been allegedly missing since she posted a video on her Facebook page on 24 August, was spotted at a Delhi hotel, officials privy to the probe said.
But she had already left the hotel when a police team reached there, they said.

4. 22-Year-Old Man Killed in Delhi Over Rs 15,000 Loan
A 22-year-old man was allegedly killed and his brother injured by three men on Wednesday night over a debt of Rs 15,000 that their elder brother had taken.
Police said that on Monday, the accused, Aakash, Deepak and a third associate, called Himanshu Chahal to step out of his house on Arya Samaj Road. The three started arguing over the debt that escalated into a fight.

5. 35-Year-Old Man Arrested for Rape of Minor in Noida
A 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl in Surajpur of Greater Noida on Wednesday. According to the police, the suspect allegedly lured the child with a packet of biscuits and assaulted her at his rented accommodation. The suspect has been identified as Nanhe Mishra, who works in a private factory.
Police said the minor and the suspect live in the same neighbourhood. Jitendra Singh Deekhit, station house officer, Surajpur police station, said the girl lives with her parents and three younger siblings in Jahangirpur village.

6. Delhi Man Held for Sexually Assaulting Boy Has 8 Cases Against Him
A day after a 48-year-old AC technician was arrested on charges of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teenage boy in Central Delhi, Delhi Police have uncovered that a total of eight cases, including six related to sexual assault, were registered against him since 1996.
The first case of sexual assault against him dates back to 2000, police said, adding that his victims include both boys and girls.

A married couple set themselves on fire within the precincts of Surir police station in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district on Wednesday morning. The police had failed to take action against their neighbour, also a local muscleman, who had been harassing them for long.
The entire incident took place in front of the couple's minor son, who cried while shooting a video of his parents going up in flames.

A 25-year-old woman from Sector 49 in Gurugram was allegedly duped of ₹5.98 lakh by a man she got acquainted with through a matrimonial website, police said on Wednesday. The incident took place in June and a case was registered on Tuesday after investigation, police said.
In her police complaint, the woman said that she met the man on a matrimonial website and he introduced himself as a pilot working with a private airline in United Kingdom.
