Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman will return to India after almost three days in captivity.

Thirty-four-year-old Wing Commander Abhinandan of the Indian Air Force (IAF) returned to India, after being held captive by Pakistan for almost three days.

“We are so proud of him,” said Abhinandan’s father Air Marshal Simhakutty Varthaman.

India echoes his sentiment.
