‘I am Mohammad Kaif & I’m Not a Sharpshooter’: Cricketer Clarifies

People confused ex cricketer Kaif with the sharpshooter who was seen with Shahabudding after his release from jail

Last week, Former RJD MP Shahabuddin was seen with sharpshooter Mohammad Kaif after he was released from jail as Patna high court granted him bail.

Shahabuddin was in jail for eleven years for being involved in a murder of a witness in the 2004 killing of two brothers in Siwan, Bihar.

People on Twitter confused sharpshooter Mohammad Kaif with the former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif. The cricketer tweeted clearing the misunderstanding his fans had regarding his namesake.

It began after a picture that showed a banner “cricketer mo. kaif ko insaaf do (give justice to Mohammad Kaif).” People on Twitter then expressed disappointment over Kaif – the cricketer – becoming a sharpshooter.
