Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on Tuesday, 27 August, moved to his new house, previously occupied by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Central Delhi's Krishna Menon Marg, news agency ANI reported.

The Home Minister was allotted the bungalow after BJP came back to power in May this year.

The Krishna Menon Marg bungalow has been empty since Vajpayee's death last year in August. The bungalow had been home for Vajpayee for the past 14 years, according to NDTV. Vajpayee had the house's number changed from 8 to 6A, according to the report.
