Voting began for the Assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra on Monday morning on 21 October. The results of the Assembly elections will be out on 24 October. These are the first Assembly elections after the return of the NDA government for the second consecutive time at the Centre. Many politician and celebrities have cast their votes in Haryana and Maharashtra like ML Khattar, Uddhav Thackeray, Madhuri Dixit etc.
These are also the first Assembly polls after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ruling in both the states at the moment. Manohar Lal Khattar is the CM of Haryana, and in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis commands the coalition government.

Total Seats in Haryana and Maharastra
Polling for the 90-member Haryana Assembly and the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly is all set to take place on Monday, 21 October. The results of the elections will be out on 24 October.
As many as 1,169 candidates will battle it out for the 90 seats on offer in Haryana, with the primary contest being between the BJP and the Congress. The other players include the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janata Party (JJP).
