After a video surfaced on Wednesday that showed CRPF jawans being assaulted by mobs in Srinagar during elections in the Kashmir valley, cricketers Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag have come out in support of the jawans. While Gautam Gambhir tweeted saying “Jammu and Kashmir belongs to us. Whoever wants azadi can leave now", Sehwag says, “This is Unacceptable! Cant do this to our CRPF jawans. This rot has to stop. Badtameezi ki hadd hai. ”
This is the video that has been doing the rounds on the social media since Wednesday and has enraged many. The mob is seen shouting “India go back”, even hitting and kicking the men in uniform.
