Soon after the news of the deaths of all four accused in the Hyderabad vet’s rape and murder broke, Twitter exploded with myriad responses.
The deceased had earlier been identified by cops as Mohammed Arif (25), Jollu Shiva (20), Jolly Naveen (20) and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu (20). As per initial reports the four accused were shot after they had been taken to the spot on NH-44 near Hyderabad for recreation of the crime scene and they allegedly tried to escape.
While several people expressed shock questioning the ‘lazy’ resolution of the case and the legitimacy of the encounter there were also people celebrating Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, under whose aegis the incident happened.

Visuals of citizens celebrating the news were also reported from various parts of Hyderabad. Policemen were also showered with petals as acknowledgement of thier work.
