Twitter Schools Trump For Asking ‘Global Waming’ to Come Back

In the midst of a Midwest cold spell, President Donald Trump pleaded for global warming to come back.

In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder. People can’t last outside even for minutes. What the hell is going on with Global Waming? Please come back fast, we need you!

Only, global warming never went away. Twitter schooled the US President soon after his tweet.

While Dictionary.com tweeted explaining what global warming meant, US government agency National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) posted a cartoon debunking Trump’s argument.

Many others on Twitter mocked how his linking of the weather conditions in the Midwest and global warming is not accurate.

Not sure about Global WAMING, but Global Warming is a REAL phenomenon, and has to do with climate change, NOT day-to-day weather. I know fourth graders who can express themselves more intelligently than you!

The leading climate change models predict that global 'warming' actually produces more extreme weather events both hot and cold. You can be skeptical of the models, but you should at least know that the extreme cold is evidence supporting those models, not refuting them.

Trump's joking about how cold temperatures in the midwest somehow disprove global warming is a reflection of his stunning ignorance. A wave of cold weather is different than long term climate change for which the evidence is utterly overwhelming -- and should be terrifying.
