At least 13 people, including two children, were killed and 15 others injured when a container truck collided with a state transport bus in Maharashtra's Dhule district, a police official said on Monday, 19 August.
The accident took place near Nimgul village on the Shahada-Dondaicha road around 10.30 pm on Sunday, an official said, adding that the bus was headed for Aurangabad.
“Thirteen people, including two women, two children and drivers of both the vehicles, were killed in the mishap,” the official said.
Eleven people, including both drivers, died on the spot, the official added. The injured were rushed to a state hospital in Dhule.
The process of registering a case of accidental death was underway, police said.
