  • A Special Investigation Team of Delhi police has approached the FBI, asking for the exact cause of the death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress member Shashi Tharoor.
  • Pushkar’s death was initially considered a suicide until new reports emerged claiming she was poisoned and murdered.
  • Pushkar’s viscera samples were sent to an FBI lab in Washington in 2015, following which the FBI concluded in November that she did not die due to poisoning.
