Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh had yet another case registered against him by the Hyderabad police, after he allegedly made an inflammatory speech.

The Golconda police station registered a case against the Goshamahal legislator, stating that he made “derogatory and hate” speeches against Muslims and promoted enmity between Hindus and Muslims.

PTI reported that Singh's speeches between July 2015 to 15 December 2017 which were available on social media, were also presented as evidence.

The case has been registered under sections 153A (promoting enmity among people on the grounds of religion, race, residence and language) and 295-A (maliciously insulting the religion and religious beliefs) of the IPC, the PTI report added.

A case was registered based on a complaint filed by Irfan Khadri, that a hate speech was made by the BJP leader in Karnataka. The Karnataka police will look into the case.
Golconda inspector Syed Fayaz told Deccan Chronicle.

Earlier this month, the Yadigir police in Karnataka had registered a case against Raja Singh, for making a provocative speech that could disturb communal harmony.

The Goshamahal legislator had made the speech at the Virat Hindu Samavesh convention in Yadagiri, where he brandished a sword, and asked all Hindus in the country to pick up their weapons.

Singh said:

Whoever comes between us and Hindu Rashtra, we will erase them, and won’t spare them. Brothers, prepare yourselves and learn to wield swords. Why do we have to learn? We have to learn to protect our religion and Hindu Rashtra. For this, every Hindu must have weapons at his house. If you don’t have weapons, then you can’t save yourself or your family.

The police also booked Sri Ram Sene founder Pramod Kumar Muthalik, Vijay Patil, and Andola Swamy.

It isn’t the first time that Raja has said something controversial and gotten into trouble with the law. Just this year alone, Raja has been in the news multiple times.

In November, he threatened to burn down theatres in Telangana if they screen Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.

"If you are true patriots and true Hindus, you should boycott such movies. You should not help them make money. If the film flops, no other filmmaker will dare to make such movies," Singh had said at the time.
