Bengaluru ACP Allegedly Slaps Journalist, Top Cop Promises Inquiry

The reporter said that the ACP was abusing the protector and threatened to jail him if he did not leave.

In what seems to be an unwarranted case of violence by the police in Bengaluru, an Assistant Commissioner of Police allegedly slapped a Bengaluru-based reporter of an English daily.

The video of the ACP slapping the reporter, too, has now gone viral on social media. The reporter is a principal correspondent at The New Indian Express.
