Two Army jawans lost their lives and three others were injured after their vehicle overturned in Assam’s Sonitpur district on Tuesday, 4 June.

The injured jawans have been admitted to Army Base Hospital in Tezpur.
In December 2018, at least 15 soldiers of the 166th Assam Regiment were injured after their car skidded off the road in Sonitpur district while they were returning from a picnic.
