A 21-year-old gangrape victim who was raped by five persons in Bhiwani district three years ago has been allegedly raped again by two of the previous accused in Rohtak, the police revealed.

The young woman, a Dalit student at a college in Rohtak, was assaulted by the two accused who are out on bail. The two accused, along with three other men, assaulted the woman again last week on Wednesday.

Police has revealed that victim’s family told them she had gone to her college on Wednesday morning only to be later found unconscious near Sukhpura Chowk in Rohtak with her clothes torn, after which she was rushed to Rohtak Civil Hospital.

The woman’s family has alleged that their daughter was raped again for refusing to take the case back after the accused had allegedly offered Rs 50 lakh to the family for dropping the charges.

However, the families of two of the accused are crying foul, and have alleged that they are being framed.

According to a report published in NDTV, the two accused of assaulting the woman again have provided CCTV footage to show that the accused were not in Rohtak on the date of the crime.
