The Allahabad High Court acquitted Nupur and Rajesh Talwar of the charges of killing their daughter Aarushi and house help Hemraj.
The couple had been serving their sentence in the Ghaziabad jail. They will finally walk out of the jail after having spent four years in it. The Quint interviewed Nupur’s parents – BG Chitnis and his wife Lata Chitnis. The grandparents expressing their joy at the court’s verdict declared, “truth has finally prevailed”.
