So what if someone was gangraped? It could be a political conspiracy, right? Yup, that’s Samjwadi party politician Azam Khan’s ‘wisdom’ on the Bulandshahr gangrape. In 2015, he’d also said that a rape victim shouldn’t seek publicity for her ‘disgrace’.
Shocked? Don’t be. It’s not the first time he’s said something incredibly idiotic. From mobile phones being the cause of rape to RSS people being gay, he’s covered a vast area of nonsense. He even reduced former HRD Minister Smriti Irani to a sex object.
But our favourite is when he declared his love for Sadhvi Prachi and asked if it counts as love jihad. We say you can love anyone you want Mr Azam, and we think you and Sadhvi Prachi deserve each other.
