X-Men Villain Called ‘Krishna’, Hindu Leader Wants Line Dropped

In X-Men’s trailer, the villain says he was known by divine names, including Krishna.

Apocalypse is here and some people aren’t happy.

In the trailer for the upcoming movie X-Men - Apocalypse, the villain, an ancient being called Apocalypse, says that he was known by many divine names, including Krishna.

This has upset ‘Hindu’ leader Rajan Zaid, who describes himself as a “religious statesman” and he has asked director Bryan Singer to delete all references to Krishna from the trailer and the film.

Comparing #Krishna to villain #Apocalypse in #XMenApocalypse trailer was inappropriate. Delete references to Krishna unless scripture based.
