Two Indian Sailors Die as Vessel Catches Fire in Yemen

Rescue teams in Djibouti and Oman have been sent to provide assistance

Two Indian sailors died and three were seriously injured after a fire broke out in a vessel in Yemen, on Monday. The vessel was named Al-Sadda.

Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, informed about the accident in a series of tweets.

The injured have been taken to a hospital in Salalah in Oman. The Indian missions in Djibouti and Oman have been rushed to the site of the accident to provide assistance.
