Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi Return to India After Medical Visit

Sonia Gandhi had not vigorously campaigned during the 2017 assembly elections due to poor health.

• On Friday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi have returned to India.
• She travelled out of the country for treatment, owing to her ill-health on 16 March.
• It was due to her ill-health that she had not vigorously campaigned in Uttar Pradesh during the elections.
