Sohaj Preet, wife of singer Gurvinder Brar and daughter of playwright Ajmer Singh Aulakh allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday, 27 March reported ANI. The incident took place in Bhatinda, Punjab.
Ajmer Singh Aulakh was a Sangeet Natak Akademi Award winning playwright, who passed away on 15 June, 2017. Dubbed "a man of roots" by Tribune India, he had written famous Punjabi plays such as "Gani" and "Satt Begaane."
Gurvinder Brar is a Punjabi singer. He is famous for songs like "Viah Wala Din" and "Miss Pooja."
The reason for Sohaj Preet's suicide is yet unknown.
