• According to The Hindu, the injured children are currently undergoing treatment at the paediatric ICU in Kasturba Hospital at Manipal. The driver of the Omni van is being treated at the trauma centre in the same hospital.
  

• The children belonged to Don Bosco High School, and have been identified as Nikita, Ananya, Selista, Ansita, Alvita, Roysten, Delvin and Clarisha, reports The Indian Express.
