Mother Teresa’s Anthology to Come out Before She Becomes a Saint

  • A collection of previously unreleased writings by Mother Teresa will come out in August, two weeks before the late Nobel Peace Prize winner is to be canonised.

  • Image, an imprint of the Crown Publishing Group said on Tuesday that it has set an 16 August release date for “A Call to Mercy: Hearts to Love, Hands to Serve.” The theme of the book is mercy and compassion. It has been compiled by Rev.
  • Brian Kolodiejchuk, who led the case for Mother Teresa’s sainthood.

  • Kolodiejchuk also edited “Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light: The Private Writings of the Saint of Calcutta,” which was published in 2007. On September 4, Pope Francis will declare Blessed Teresa of Calcutta a saint. She died in 1997, at the age of 87.
