A woman named Bhavna Arora, threw ink at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday at a public gathering to mark the “success” of the odd-even traffic restriction scheme but missed him.

Arora, alleging a “CNG scam” in the AAP government, threw ink at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was speaking at the Chhatrasal Stadium, in north Delhi. She was later detained by the police.

Delhi police was blamed for being negligent and Kejriwal’s cabinet jumped the gun by blaming the attack on BJP.

The woman was manhandled by the male Delhi Police force.

Arora said that AAP has scammed the public for CNG and she has proof.

Meanwhile, AAP continues to play the blame-game with the Delhi Police and BJP, saying the act was ‘orchestrated’ and saying it was a “conspiracy” to attack Kejriwal and his ministers.

There was no security provided by Delhi Police. It is a conspiracy by the BJP and Delhi Police is also involved in it. Who will take the responsibility if any woman or man throws acid at Delhi’s chief minister where thousands of people are sitting. What if a bomb goes off?

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of AAP

BJP has condemned this ink incident, which seems to become a bigger controversy.

This is not the first time Arora, who is part of the Aam Aadmi Party Sena (AAPS), a splinter group formed by AAP rebels, opposed the Delhi chief minister.

According to Indiatoday.in, she was chief of AAPS Delhi Mahila Morcha when they had protested outside Kejriwal’s house in April 2015 accusing him of failing to enhance the safety of women. She has also claimed that she has evidence regarding the ‘CNG scam’ she has accused Kejriwal of.

She and other AAPS members have accused Kejriwal of playing divisive politics.
