Suspended JD(U) MLA Sarfaraz Alam was arrested and released on bail on Sunday itself for allegedly misbehaving and abusing a Delhi-based couple on board Rajdhani Express on 17 January.
Alam, along with three others, was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 20,000. However, his passport has been seized so he cannot leave the country, Railway Superintendent of Police PN Mishra said.
Alam was called for questioning on Sunday for the second time after which he was arrested, Mishra said.
Alam has denied the charge even after his arrest. The incident came to light after a CCTV video of him harassing the couple was found.
Alam, the third term JD(U) MLA from Jokihat in Araria district, is subjected to more questioning after his arrest, the SP said.
The JD(U) MLA, who is the son of RJD MP from Araria Mohammad Taslimuddin, was allowed to go home on medical grounds on Friday after four hours of questioning.

On Saturday, the MLA admitted to traveling in the train on 17 January but claimed he did not abuse the couple. Earlier, he had denied traveling in the train.

JD(U) suspended Alam hours after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar categorically said law would take its own course in the case.
