Militant Killed By Security Forces in J&K’s Tral

Other militants have reportedly escaped into a forest area nearby.

Security Forces killed a militant from the Hizbul Mujahideen, identified as Adil Chopan, in Gulshanpora in Tral, Jammu & Kashmir’s.

Chopan was reportedly killed after a group of militants opened fire at the 42 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group Awantipora, in Gulshanpora.

Other militants reportedly escaped into a forest area nearby. Security forces have cordoned off the area and are currently engaging the militants with retaliatory fire.
