Jaipur’s Aman Bansal Tops IIT-JEE Advanced 2016

The IIT JEE Advanced 2016 exam results were announced on Sunday by the IIT joint board at 10 am. Soon after the announcement, however, the website crashed because of the volume of students trying to check their results for admission to the various campuses of the prestigious institution.

Aman Bansal from Jaipur emerged as the topper of the exam, while Bhavesh Dhingra from Haryana secured the second rank. Kunal Goyal from Jaipur secured the third rank.

Riya Singh who hails from Kota, was the topper among the girls, though her All India Rank was 133.

Close to two lakh students had appeared for the IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for 2016.
