Hyderabad’s English and Foreign Languages University Professor John Varghese will replace Valson Thampu as the new principal of Delhi’s St Stephen’s college. With Thampu’s tenure ending on 29 February, Varghese will take over on 1 March.

Thampu’s latest fiasco involved the death of the campus dhaba owner Rohtas. He was the principal of St Stephen College since 2008.
