Cloudburst and Heavy Rainfall in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand sees a cloudburst, with a few buildings being damaged, although full scope of the downpour not known yet.

• Cloud burst in Ghansali area of Tehri district in Uttarakhand, with Kotiara and Sitapur of the state regions being affected, on 28 May.
  
• Several buildings, including a school, have been damaged, though the exact scope of the damage cannot be ascertained yet.
  
• Rest of Tehri district sees heavy rainfall along with Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand.
