Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, said that BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the constitution, fought against injustice in society and his fight was for equality and dignity.
Launching the ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday’ programme in Mhow in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, on Ambedkar’s 125th birth anniversary, Modi said the programme will be held from 14-24 April.
It is my privilege that I am here, on the birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar. I bow to this land. He (Ambedkar) fought against injustice in society. He was a fighter for equality and dignity.
