BJP Protests in Bhopal Against Shashi Tharoor and Kanhaiya Kumar

BJP protested against Shashi Tharoor and his recent comparison of Bhagat Singh and JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar.

The BJP on Friday placed photos of Kanhaiya Kumar and Shashi Tharoor on two donkeys in Bhopal. They were protesting Tharoor’s recent speech, where he compared Kanhaiya Kumar with Bhagat Singh. Even when the Congress MLA had originally made this statement, Union Minister Prakash Javdekar had demanded an apology from him on the issue.

What is Congress doing? For 12 years, it opposed Modi, for two years, it opposed development (under Modi), then it gave respectability to anti-India slogans raised in JNU and now insulting martyrs has become the identity of Congress under Rahul Gandhi

Javdekar had gone onto further attack Tharoor by saying that there could be no comparison between the JNU leader and Singh as the former is accused of glorifying Afzal Guru, who was convicted of helping foreign terrorists in attacking Parliament while the latter chose gallows in his fight against foreign invaders.
