According to the official notification, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak.
The online submission of applications has started on 27 August 2019 and the candidates can apply online for the exam only till 5 pm on 26 September 2019.
The computer based examination (Paper-1) will be conducted on 26 November 2019. SSC will notify regarding the exam date for Paper-2 later. Here are the details about the various posts:
Under the ‘Reservation and suitability of posts for Persons with Disabilities’ the notification states, “Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak being Group ‘B’ posts, there is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category. However, benefit of age-relaxation will be admissible to ESM candidates, as per extant Govt. Orders. ”
The candidates applying for the job must not be more than of 30 years of age as on 1 January 2020. However, there is a relaxation of upper age limit given for different categories.
For candidates from SC/ST category, the age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit is five years, for candidates from the OBC category it is three years , for PwD category it is 10 years.
For candidates belonging to PwD and OBC category, the age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit is 13 years and for candidates from PwD+SC/ST category, the relaxation is for 15 years.
