SSC CGL 2018: Exam Date, Eligibility, Remuneration & Other Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) combined graduate level (CGL) exam 2018 will be conducted from from 4-19 June, in a computer-based format, the SSC announced in an official notification.

However, the final selection through the CGL Exam 2018 to various posts would be done on the basis of confirmed vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/departments/offices/cadres before the declaration of result, according to the notification released in May 2018.

What Has Changed?

The exam would be conducted by TCS-iON this year. Earlier, Sify Technologies was the service provider for the SSC CGL examination.

The service provider was changed in accordance with the demands of protesting candidates following an alleged leak of 2017 question paper, a report on The Indian Express said.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates, up to 30 years of age can apply for the job.

What is the Remuneration Being Offered?

Candidates clearing the exam can expect a remuneration between Rs 9300-34,800 (pre-revised) per month.
